I say he tries the double again in his farewell year. One year older, one year wiser, he knows what he should have done or not done. Any champion or great entrepreneur know there are are no failures, just lessons in what you should not do next time when you go for the bulls-eye..

Some riders have TdF tendencies. TJV tends to retire as a result of feeling bad. Contador has a tendency to crash on downhills.

He crashed today, but that doesn't mean it's not his strongest side. He's still lost less time on the descents than on the ascents in this race.

nothing going right on this TDF for Contador. In fact, on all his TDF participation since he is back. It seems, he always has a set back. Dunno, maybe he is trying too hard, or it's not just his year again. O well, start thinking about next year. Last year, last TDF attempt. And finish in Vuelta to say goodbye.

Lance is right: he should will learn from him, his methods and surely Berto would have won this tour

Sure, but we hoped a suicide attack like Alpe 2011. Now, it's impossible and a no sense : he has a 0% for the victory,. He can go now for the ( f-----g) podium

Valverde makes the podium, he's looked stronger throughout the Tour.

And Froome isn't the only one who should be beaten.
The Tour will be the goal, nevertheless. Contador isn't going back to the Giro. That's what he said.

Sucks balls that Movistar killed the race by chasing down his attack with 74km to go and then he got really unlucky on the descent. Would love to see him just animate the race just for fun now Attack from kiliometre zero pleaasseeee.

I saw an interview with Mick. He said the road was very bumpy and he thinks Alberto front wheel hit a bump and slid out from under him, but he hadn't talked to him.
