Berto saying he feels as good as 2014. There may be a bit of bluster to shake the others up but his record is good this season :).

Here’s how Contador’s 2014 and 2016 spring seasons compare:
2014

— Volta ao Algarve: Stage win and second overall, 19 seconds behind winner Michal Kwiatkowski
— Tirreno-Adriatico: Two stage wins and first overall, 2:05 ahead of Nairo Quintana
— Volta a Catalunya: Second overall at 4 seconds behind Joaquim Rodríguez
— Vuelta al País Vasco: Stage win and first overall, 49 seconds ahead of Kwiatkowski

2014 total: 25 race days, six victories
2016

— Volta ao Algarve: Stage win and third overall, 26 seconds behind winner Geraint Thomas
— Paris-Nice, second overall, 4 seconds behind winner Thomas
— Volta a Catalunya: Second overall, 7 seconds behind winner Nairo Quintana
— Vuelta al País Vasco: Stage win and 12-second victory over Sergio Henao

2016 total: 25 race days, three victories

This is important, I think is quite obvious, better results or wore he is at the same level than in 2014. This must be the same for le Tour, he will be like 2014. And that is the same if he beat easy to Froome and Quintana, or if Pinot and Porte droped him easily. Dont work to say later, well, he wanst at his level, he is not like 2014, depending the result.

If anything go wrong , I mean. He feels like in 2014 so far

Last year he said he was ok at the start of le Tour, but he was fresher at 2014.

That are good news!.

I hope he reaches his goals this year and his luck improves at the TdF.

He will, barring any injuries there simply isnt anyone who can beat him if hes in top conditions. People can come here with all their ideas and theories all they want but from a logical standpoint its very simple, if Contador is in 100% conditions and doesnt crash theres simply noone who can beat him STILL in todays cycling in a 3 week GT.

Cry, argue all you want but show me a single fact which shows otherwice then ill bite but since there aint none and I dont care of half the opinons of the lunatics on here ill just let the stats and facts speaks for themself since afterall its more evidence than some of your guys ideas no offence!

This post is full of hogwash. That's really all we can say now.

Glad some Contador-fans also point out the *** when its needed to

I'm really hoping for a thrilling July where the jersey goes from Froome to Contador to Quintana basically every stage with long range attacks by everyone until Contador soloes from 40k on the last mountain stage to take the jersey. I can dream :p

lurked for a long time and finally decided to join , another Alberto fan boy however :D

I'd take an in shape Contador over Froome in this years Tour in a straight up battle between the two however he'll be in tough with Sky's super dom's chasing down multiple attacks per stage like they did last year .

for racing sake i'm on the anyone but Sky camp for this years tour , can't stand there type of racing

*** dude, I think you took it too serious when your momma told you "if you reaaaaaallyyyyy believe in something with all of your heart and mind, it becomes the world truth". Too bad it doesn't work that way.
But opinions are like asses: every body has one :)

Oh I'm seeing, you didn't get what I said. It's normal. I just did the same thing you did: stating a meaningful opinion (to me) about a meaningless opinion which lacked facts by a guy who can't accept the truth. I agree with you, it's too *** funny :)

Blackmamba, Jakub and Blurry, that's the real MVP's

Ray and Valv - I get that reality sometimes can hit you hard when ur not prepared to face it but cmon its time to wake up now

I just woke up and have a massive hangover, but you are probably right, Contador will win without even trying, why did I realise that this late is the real question... bummer

Again as always you exaggerate things and make things up, why did I expect anything else at this point :p

Btw there can only be one MVP you should know this,,,,well where all waiting who is it ?

I have probably rode more bike than you have ever done in your life, fun fact I even join Kristoff when hes home occasionally on a light ride when it fits and did a ride with him 2 weeks before he won flandern last year, sorry if you didnt like that either.
Anyone who rides a bike at a certain level and trains in an area where pro cyclists live join them for a light ride every now and then. I myself have occasionally trained with a handful of pro riders with quite a decent palmares (a San Sebastián winner, a TDF stage winner...), and I'm hardly Eddy Merckx 2.0.

Long story short, it's nothing special to boast about.

Anyone who rides a bike at a certain level and trains in an area where pro cyclists live join them for a light ride every now and then. I myself have occasionally trained with a handful of pro riders with quite a decent palmares, and I'm hardly Eddy Merckx reincarnated.

Long story short, it's nothing special to boast about.

100% agree but since the guy claimed I never have taken a ride in my life I feelt like mentioning it.

Case is their opinions lack anything based on real facts they just assume wild things and think its correct without basing things in things we know such as facts/stats its frankly a bit annoying since it makes NO SENSE :p

And once more this thread isn't about Alberto Contador........ :(

Whining about it helps. Look how it's done.

Someone knows where Contador is gonna train in the next months? He said he's going for an even harder peak now, well duh.

See not hard is it?
