If Wiggins was on Alberto's other side at the TdF presentation, I'm surprised Alberto didn't sit on Andy's lap.

Planning an Alliance?
"Alright Andy, this is the stage where we team up and put an end to Sky's reign"

Andy Schleck (RadioShack Nissan) was in Paris for the 2013 Tour de France route unveiling but found himself out in the cold when race organisers ASO cherry picked a number of riders onto the stage. Schleck, the official winner of the 2010 race, was passed over while the rider who was stripped of the 2010 title for doping, Alberto Contador, was allowed up

I think Alberto should run the Giro, because on Tuor until Mont Ventox, just go home safe and in the third week he wins the Tour already recovered from the Giro.

I don't think it would be a good idea for him to try the double again. Especially as that will mean he has done 3 consecutive Grand Tours.

I think if Alberto loses time due to a fall or a gap in the peloton in the first week bye Tuor. And the Giro is perfect for him, as well as the tour to go home if he saved the first week.

He will definitely ride the Tour, should attempt at the Worlds' and will most probably do the Vuelta.
He won't risk his Tour chances by attempting the Giro.

I agree the asian, he will ride le Tour (but I think he shouldn't)

Yeah,he will ride it for sure, but I wonder if he can win Vuelta after that.:D
IMHO he should try a double,he has good domestiques for Giro and Tour, but I understand that it would be extremely difficult to beat Skyduo Wigg/Giro,Froomey/Tour...and still dont forget about Andy:cool:

At some point in the future I think he will attempt the giro tour double again, preferably in a year where the world championships course that year suits him. Ponferrada perhaps? It would be nice to become world champion in his home country.

The Giro in 2011 was too hard to win the tour after it, but he would have a better chance with more balanced parcours in the Tour and Giro.

if you want to beat froomey, then you need every watt you can store.
so giro-tour double,i find it impossible right now for alberto

Ponferrada RR course doesn't suit him

Has the profile changed:confused:.

According to the profile you posted about a month back, it suited him. The circuit had two decent climbs and a descent finish on too fat from the top.

Oh and I will quote Ferminal:

It's a bit better looking at it a second time. Most likely it is a sprint of 30 or so but at least it gives the attackers some chance. A bit like 2012 where Gilbert will have to survive a few kms after the end of the last climb, obviously Cauberg is a harder climb though.

I trust Ferminal
