IMHO he should try a double,he has good domestiques for Giro and Tour,but I understand that it would be extremely difficult to beat Skyduo Wigg/Giro,Froomey/Tour...and still dont forget about Andy![]()

The Giro in 2011 was too hard to win the tour after it, but he would have a better chance with more balanced parcours in the Tour and Giro.

According to the profile you posted about a month back, it suited him. The circuit had two decent climbs and a descent finish on too fat from the top.
It's a bit better looking at it a second time. Most likely it is a sprint of 30 or so but at least it gives the attackers some chance. A bit like 2012 where Gilbert will have to survive a few kms after the end of the last climb, obviously Cauberg is a harder climb though.
