he rest of the world sees things differently than we do,

They don't understand This Thing of Ours.

they have very basic and incredibly innacurate ideas of what cycling is, how it works, what is important, who watches it, even who participates.
And e they are spectacularly uninformed when it comes to doping.

They of course only care about 1 race.
what r u getting at? july fans are not real cycling fans?

The Tour is the steppingstone/pathway for new fans of the sport. They have to start somewhere and the Tour is usually it especially for those that don't live in Europe and don't have direct easy access to the sports's big events.

23:39 minutes of Alberto

Impressed by Moscow

He spoke long about his childhood and teen years (his first bike, his first steps at Pinto cycling team), about 2007 and 2008 GT victories and last vuelta too and about doping in cycling.

He talked too about the comment of retiring at 33 and he told aside the life of a cyclist is hard it's very likely he stays at least 5 more years and after that he'll go year by year.

Saxo Tinkoff 2013 it's the best team he has ever been and as a leader he is very content with the pool of riders he can use next season. The atmosphere is pretty good and that means better results.

Froome is the greatest threat next july, followed by Andy if has a nice start of the season.
