Hummmm...he knocked Berto off his bike. Has he ever apologized or explained what happened? I think he may be an ally of convenience, but no bromance.

Would you want Alberto Contador within 2 minutes with the Galibier stage still to come
Also, Sunweb will try to control this for Matthews
Likely, though I would never want to risk that with Alberto Contador.wheresmybrakes said:Red Rick said:You have yelliw.

He won't last the Galibier stage. Couple of stages ago was fine for him and his attack, it was only 100k.

So I hadn't watched the stage today, reading the stage thread now.Red Rick said:Quintana, at little over 2 minutes, no threat to GC
I mean, wat?
Neither I'd say, although I guess his team may want him to ride the Vuelta.benzwire said:Is he planning to do the Vuelta? What about World Champs this year?
I mean, why wouldn't he? They are in the exact same position. Contador going up the road alone wont lead to anything now that Landa most probably won't join in. Then you have Barguil. The big question in Quintana's legs tho.LaFlorecita said:Why would he forge an alliance with Quintana?
I think it depends a lot on how he fares in the Alps. If he recovers more and leaves the Tour on a relative high I could see him racing decently in the latter part of the year.LaFlorecita said:Neither I'd say, although I guess his team may want him to ride the Vuelta.benzwire said:Is he planning to do the Vuelta? I think it would be better for Contador to go up the road with a GC contender so he can work with them and go for the stage uncontested. If Alberto and Nairo go up the road they would both be looking for a stage. Still could happen, but going with a GC contender would give him better odds of a stage win.Valv.Piti said:I mean, why wouldn't he? They are in the exact same position. He seems to be enjoying himself!
