I was never a big fan of Alberto. Until 2011 Tour. Still remember the crowd booing when he came to the team presentation. It was ugly.

The greatest efforts from champions are the losing efforts. Alberto driving that break all day long on stage 19, and then dying a thousand deaths on the Alpe. It was amazing.

None of that waiting for the last 2km on a MTF to gain 15 seconds on your rivals bs we've seen, well almost every rider on the peloton these days. And pacing your efforts by your power meter like a robot.

To me he seems almost like relic from what the sport used to be, when men were men and not some friggin babies crying that you cannot attack on a downhill. Geez..

Stages would be so much more awessome. Ive seen Contador in the situation where he gave up on gc, once in my life. The stage started, the flag dropped, the down on gc riders tried to create a break and 5 minutes into the stage Alberto Contador Velasco is attacking 100km out ripping up the entire field and causing mass carnage.

Imagine Contador going into a gt trying to play Emanuellle Sella in the 3rd week. We already saw his teammate do just that in the TDF and my compatriots will forgive me for saying RM34 is an inferior rider. Imagine Contador, arguably the greatest climber of all time going into a gt just to win stages in the 3rd week.

Andy? Wasn't a fan back in his hey-days and now I mostly cheer for him because of his injuries. I suffered some injuries during my career and I know how hard it can be. Would be fun to see hime back at a decent level.

Cadel? Yeah, sure I support him.

Does that make me a hypocrite? I don't think so. You show me some credible evidence of Cadel doping and I would have no problem dropping him like a stone.

I used to think I could tell who was clean and who wasn't but I have come to change my mind over the years, unless the case is a slam dunk i.e. Armstong.

So now I only support non sanctioned riders.

Actually he was. He was convicted and then exonerated. Then again, the spanish anti-doping agency isn't receiving much praise for their work either.
