Contador is of course an all time great. Only three riders have won more GTs than him.

All of Merckx, Hinault, Anquetil, Coppi, Indurain, Contador and Armstrong are all time greats.

Armstrong. I do not take seriously a list that includes a rider who has no GT wins to his name.

Contador has won 5 GTs. Merckx, Hinault, Anquetil, Coppi and Indurian have won more than 5 so that is 5 riders who have won more GTs than Contador. Another 3, Bartali, Binda and Gimondi have also won 5. I would certainly ranked Bartali higher than Contador as he lost some of his career due to the second world war.

When you start discussing facts then I will take you more seriously.

Why would you say one is better then another?

In the time of Bartali, cycling was so much different comparing nowadays.

Great vid. According to him he didn't do anything for the first 16 days which is almost accurate to what the guy on twitter said.

For the last 2 weeks (so longer than he previously said) he had no pain anymore but when he goes full gas there's a little pain still.

So before those last 2 weeks he's been training too but not very long rides cause of the pain.

Oh man Alberto seems so cool and relaxed. Awesome:)

Anyone else think the love in between Contador and Froome is weird lol. He always names Froome fav they clearly both rate each other highly as Froome congratulated Coontador saying sorry to see you abandon yet he did not tweet congrats to Nibali. They are like Hamilton and Alonso of F1 use to hate each other now have alot of respect.

He will go quite easy during first 5 days, so he has some extra time for recovery. We need to wait for first MTF.

Quite lucky really because i think his recovery is better than Froome. Honestly look at 2013 TDF he was well weaker in final week. I know he did the TDF in 12 and then did the Vuelta but the Vuelta was a diff rider after 8 days. Froome although some question marks needs more mountains early i think.

It's almost normal, it's the love between their fans since Le Tour that is even weirder :D

In 2012 Tour he didn't need mountains early. and he won the final gc stage of 2011 Vuelta.

A little 'more respect to Pantani would be due. Especially after the latest news on the alleged murder

Whether he caused his own death or someone else murdered him, the fact that he died is terrible (death is always terrible even if someone "deserves" it), but that has nothing to do with what I said. I just thought It was ironic that he went from being a fan of one shady character to another.

yeah it sounds bad.... damn I want him to race and win more than anyone else but he should NOT be taking this risk! Going against the doctor's advice.... sheesh

I remember reading that the doctor who treated his injury said that he was good to go. And during the team presentation he told 'Perico' that his knee doesn't hurt anymore when riding his bike. Only he knows what he's doing and we'll soon find out the truth.

I was hoping before this interview he was bluffing a little, but there i saw a man who is truly uncertain about his shape. Chapeau for having the courage to compete with not completely healed leg, I hope he doesnt hurt his future with this race, as far as results, even a stage win and some good attacks would be fantastic!
