Even if he does have decent form he should ride for Roman. Roman is in great form so has a better chance to win or place high and of course he can score points for the team

'07 was bad, true that but he was pretty young then and his peak was paris-nice.

08, '09, '12. Didn't ride anything.

'10 3th in FW, could have won if he waited a bit longer and 10th in LBL, playing perfect teammate for vino and closed the gap easily on gilbert and andy on roche aux faucons.

'11, FW only top 10, if i remember correctly, he was kinda sick.

How you can judge that he had mixed results is beyond me.

Great duo for Tour,Roman can do a lot of work for Alberto i think.
Bad news from todays race is that except Roman and Sorensen it was quite bad coz Roche,Sutherland etc. were nowhere
Still Im looking forward to this week,Alberto has better chance in FW than Roman,but in LBL it can be little bit more interesting with both.

edit: still hope for Mick that he can pull a result in spring,whats his race programme?

Alberto came close for FW in 2010, but maybe moved a little bit soon that time. Let's see if his breathing (or whatever he's calling it) is straightened out.

Don´t forget either Nicki or CAS in LBL, its a race they both done very well in, and Nicki is peaking atm, I wouldn´t be surprised if we see some really aggressive riding from Saxo on Sunday. Strong team all together.

why not? AC can be a good teammate, he helped V to get a big win. He rides for Roman in LBL, Roman rides for hin in the Tour. It is an excellent deal for AC
