How about Astana 2008 Vuelta pulls when Valverde went to give his jacket to his DS? He lost all chances for podium back then.

That was his own error and one similar to many losses of focus that he's had that cost him higher gc positions in the past. I think he's learned from those errors and has become a better grand tour gc rider as a result. I doubt that he took that personal considering they were both fighting for the gc. That situation is far from being the same as what happened with Sky while he was in the leader's jersey at the Vuelta.

Imagine what happen next? Now, he is working to be the first sponsor so he can influence the team more. Bjarne seemed to not always agree with Tinkoff. If he becomes first sponsor it will be a headache dealing with crazy tinkoff. He also said, he's planning to bring more russian to the team. From the way he talked about it, doesn't sound good to me (not the bringing russian thing, but the fact that he will want to force his agenda). Might disrupt the team harmony. His twitter is funny, but from PR stand point, it's a disaster .. really. I'm contador's fan, but I don't like reading his twitter about Froome, especially it comes from the sponsor. There's a fine line between being a contador fan, and plain crazy + idiotic

Please, he is acting the parody of what he is accused of being by the tweebs out there. Being both yourself and your parody is original humour... Twitter is a mess of cliché, taken far too seriously and with far too much gravitas aplied without proper distinctions toward sources. It's a gossip tool in it's own reality. What law determines the state of it's validity when it is used and perceived so differently by so many.

The video did not show what happened and I did not have time to read the thread of the stage... in one instante saxo was at the front.. in the other.. valverde is ahead with froome...

Can someone tell what happened!?
