No news is good news. Contador being DQd at the Tour is huge, if anything would have happened every journalist there would be all over it. It would be all over Twitter by now.

This is why when CyclingNews weighs pro bikes they're never 6.800 kg... you need some extra for scale error, even tire wear will shed a few grams. Agree he should be cut a bit of slack, but then so should Ted King have been cut a bit of slack. Anyway, let's hope he wasn't under.

Yes, but it could take much longer for Saxo and the UCI
to negotiate an appropriate payoff to keep El Pistolero
in the race.

well alberto tried today. His form is getting better but he still lack of it. Quintana is the podium and can shoot to 2nd place. J-rod looked really strong. Either they are smart to keep following then launch an attack, or they are stronger than contador + kreuziger at the moment.

He's losing over a minute every MTF. Even with Froome in trouble today he couldn't close up even a little.

It's sad to see a great rider having these troubles. If he doesn't gain time tomorrow on Quintana and Purito I don't think he will even finish on the podium.
