I love the Giro and I like the idea of Contador riding it again. That said I am a tad disappointed that we wont get to see a 100% Froome vs a 100% Contador.

Unless Froome decides to do the Giro as well I think it would be better to do Giro/Vuelta, if Contador indeed does insist on doing the Giro.

Looks like we are gonna see a 100% Froome vs a 85% Contador and we all know how that will end.

there is a strong possibility we wouldnt see 100% vs 100% anyway, so why risk/waste another season of our hopes.

Obviously he'll go to the Giro with a condition of 80%: 'cause the first two weeks will not be too hard so he'll try to defend or control others.
In the last hard week ,instead, Berto will attack to win supported by a better shape.

In doing so he participates relatively ''fresh'' in TdF, very close to the best condition.

My opinion

Do you have some type of betting jones?? I'm confident that he'll finish the Giro. Next year we'll see who is right. History shows that unless an injury is the reason, Contador tends to finish the grand tours that he enters.

What part of "I don't bet" don't you understand? My fun is in watching the outcome. That's why I love the sport of cycling. The participation and the watching of it. I can't imagine deriving any pleasure from wagering on the outcome. What happens, happens.
