He needs 25-30 sec on Uran. And less on Nibali. Should be doable.

yeah but he said Terminillo isn't hard enough to make that huge difference. Unless he pulls another Fuente De or Lanciano, then yeah. that would be 'epic'

There could be small gaps in today's finish. Last year Contador lost 6s to Kwiatkowski and won 8s on Quintana.

Thankfully Alberto did not lose time today. What was the team thinking? It seems like they were only focused on Sagan and didn't even notice Alberto was nowhere near them.

Hopefully Alberto can take back some time tomorrow but stage 5 is the big day.

Last year he could peak towards the WT stage races in March, this year he can't really. Seems like the condition is there but he might be lacking some high intensity work

Same here. It's like my senses are being bombarded! I can only take so much of it until I adapt to the changes.

because his tt ride was probably his worst tt placement ever as a pro apart from the vuelta stage where he didn't give a crap

I wouldn't worry too much about Contador's form, at the moment. Only if he gets beaten by a large margin on Terminilo and more than one or two riders, everything should be just fine.
His Andalucia shape was really good and a drop should be expected here or in Catalunya.
