Surprised you didn't caught the joke considering just how many times you guys have commented on his weight during the years. It was pretty much a reference to that, the panic when he was a little too heavy. Yeah, he is obviously bigger than last year, but nowhere near fat. He is maybe around 70 kg, probably lighter.

And of course he would lol. He won on Angliru 5 months ago or so...

I got it, my post was meant as a joke as well I wouldn't consider him fat either
I would kill to have his level of fitness!

It definitely isn't. Look at other pictures of the training camp.

It's only now when seeing fat Contador that I fully realise I won't see him in races anymore. A pre-season without him bragging about his best numbers ever feels kinda weird.

I'm shocked... his upper body looks very good (skinny) but his legs are so big. :lol:

Yeah he definitely isn't showing the belly that he promised us yet

For me it's the different kit. In the past weeks he trained in sponsorless kit and even his old Trek outfit. But seeing him in the Polartec kit shows he has moved on and taken the next step in life

He looks good. Show the wee boys how it's done! Also, how lucky are they to be able to train with the Great One.

I wasn't sure about the kit at first as the blue fade is kinda weird but it looks good in motion, it looks fresh

what makes me sad is that I don't see any rider capable of doing what Contador does on the road. I had high hopes on bernal but he ruined everything when he signed for sky.

No he still looks good of course! I think it's great that he's still out there with the youngsters....I think he'll stay thin (not pro thin) for quite some time.

Yeah, it must be great for those young guns. I imagine Valverde will do something similar when (if) he retires someday for his team.
He has a powermeter on his bike tho...... best numbers while not racing professionally?
