Well, folks, could I kindly inform you who is going to be the 2012 Vuelta winner? :D

Wont be Andy. he will be sharing pints with Stuaurt half way through the race. ´

But I am willing to make u an avatar bet. if Andy wins I will make a picture of Andy on the podium in Madrid my avatar for the rest of the year, whereas u will make a Madrid podium picture of Contador your avatar for the rest of the year if Contador wins.

I am not an extreme Andy hater or an extreme Bertie fan-boy, but I still hope u will take the bet. Its always more fun if somethings are at stake :) If someone else win we just call it a draw. A prerequisite is that both will start the race of course (Andy might continue his bad streak of injury luck but that shouldnt fall back on u)

LaFlo is a wise woman:D

Stage 17 of Tour 2009, the best stage brothers have done as a pair.

When someone actually cares about finishing first on the line, the best brothers could have done is this :D

I'm not panicking and I am incredibly calm.

I just can't see Alberto winning, doesn't matter if he has good or bad form.

What are your reasons behind this belief or should I say, lack of belief in Contador's ability to arrive at the Vuelta with form capable of taking the overall?

Last time Alberto beat Andy comfortably in the mountains was 3 years ago.

Do you have strong nervous system? It will have to be steel in the Vuelta.

Argh why oh why did Andy have to be his stupid self again? Why did he have to crash? Now he's going to ruin everything.
Everyone is now hyping up the Vuelta and hoping for an epic battle and an exciting race etc. but I want Alberto to win. I don't want epic battles. For me a race is epic when Alberto is awesome and wins.
If Andy is going to race the Vuelta for the win Alberto won't even win the only race he could win this season. Stupid Andy probably doesn't understand how selfish that is. Just because he needs to save his **** season he's going to ruin someone else's season. It's just not fair.
I hope the Spaniards give Andy the same treatment as the Frenchies gave Alberto last year. He needs to know how that feels. Maybe he'll grow up when he finds out not everyone loves him. But the Spaniards won't do that because they've got 100000000x more class than the Frenchies.

I think you need counselling!!
Expected more from you. We all know contador will whoop Andy's ***.

My goodness la vuelta will be fun.
I hope andy takes the race seriously for once and recovers quickly.
Thats just my opinion that contador will own the **** out of andy.
But wouldn't it be great to see andy win:D:D:D

Why did you expect more from me?

Because contador is the overwhelming favourite. Expected you to believe more in contador.
Who else can challange him???
Andy, Jrod, Anton.
The injured from le tour.

It can't be good that everyone is putting so much pressure on Alberto. Everyone expects him to win by minutes but no one seems to understand that Alberto is only human and can't live up to such expectations. He could win by 4-5 minutes without Andy but with Andy it won't be by more than a minute. That's also why I'm sad because winning the Vuelta with 30 seconds advantage means nothing.

My goodness come on, a win is a win.
I would be happy if cadel wins le tour by a second.

You know, sometimes you just feel it isn't going to work. Just like last year in the Tour, I can't imagine him riding away from Andy in the mountains. I have had this feeling for two years now. I feel like Alberto isn't the climber he used to be. That's also why I don't think he will continue to win races after 2013. I can't see him improving and he will only get worse.

There was a lot of bad luck for alberto in the tour last year and he did a bloody hard giro.
What????
Giro 2011 might be one of his best performances ever.
He will win for a very long time I can ensure you that.
yes but now he is in his peak of his abilities. He will only start getting worse at a later age.

You don't understand it do you? I want Alberto to be the best and not just by 2 seconds.

To be the best, you have to face the best too.
So alberto riding away from all the second tier GT contenders in la vuelta, like Giro 2011, won't mean he is the best.
Going against a top shape andy in the mountains will.

I can't see it happening but that doesn't mean I don't/won't love Alberto anymore.

This really doesn't make any sense Conta-girl.

You would consider a 4 minute win over the likes of some second tier riders a better win than a 30 second win over Andy?

So there you have it, Giro 2011 means nothing because he raced against second tier riders.

In my opinion Alberto would not have ridden away if his opponents had been Andy, Evans, Sanchez etc. so that only supports my opinion that Alberto isn't good enough to win GTs anymore.

I don't know why you have suddenly turned so pessimistic overnight.
Alberto is a hugely talented. Probably the most talented of his generation.
I'm sure he will be back to his winning days.

I'm pretty sure alberto is able to ride away from evans and sanchez. Andy isn't a certainty. But still his superiority in the TT will help him get his GT.
In the third week he is as strong as evans in the TT.

I didn't just turn pessimistic overnight. I've had this feeling for a good long while now.
