One of the strongest guys in the peloton, with an agressive racing style. Great rider, great victory. There are some opportunities for a second stage win. ;)

He had some bad luck in his career so far, let's hope he stays fit and healthy for the Worlds.

So, what's with the beer belly? Is there hope for me yet?

Lutsenko and Wellens are some of the riders Im most intrigued about in the upcoming classics. Especially Lutsenko since it feels he has so much untapped potential, especially in really hard races like the flemish races. I think he has it in him to win some of these races with a well timed attack.

How is his sprint?

He's no GVA, Kwiato etc, but he isn't slow either, he beat Bakelants in a two-man sprint in Suisse and Chernetckii in the same situation to win in Almaty in 2014, and those riders have won <5 man group sprints before, which is a similar number for most Classics if it comes to a sprint. In his Hainan stage win, I think (but not 100% sure it wasn't a solo ride that was almost caught on the line) he beat riders like Andriato, Pasqualon, Ponzi and Duque. OK they are not Kittel or Cav, but they are technically sprinters who do well on hillier stages.

In the Classics, provided he avoids a group finish with one of the real sprinters or GVA, Kwiato, Stybar, Gilbert etc, he may be able to beat the likes of Sep and Naesen. Of course, everything is diferent in a sprint after 160km to 200km and again at 260kms.
