Is this a typo? Did he somehow talk USADA out of punishment?

Over the past two years, the media have followed Phinney's progress in rehabilitating his leg, and he's been frank and honest about how difficult the process has been. Perhaps it was the inspiration of the Olympic Games, or the support of his family and friends like Allan Lim, Mike Friedman and brothers Lachlan and Gus Morton who helped him simulate race pace, but the muscle imbalances and pain that have plagued him for so long were absent in Rio.

It's probably 'our' Lim. His first name has like five different spellings.

Did USADA ever punish Lim? I don't think so (?).
Lim possesses the single most valuable asset in the game of procycling: knowing how to gear up riders.
With that knowledge you'll always be wanted in procycling. Look at the likes of Yates, Riis, Vaughters, Knaven, etc.

Phinney is a doper like his parents. Sad but clearly true.

You can't just drop tidbits like that last one and not expect to be asked to expand on that. Details, please?

Lim has a long history with dopers and doping teams.

It seems to me they hire a science guy and use them as a distraction by offering all kinds of implausible public explanations from "the scientist", for the performances. Ed Coyle, and I think at this point even one of Coyle's proteges who frequents this forum.

Buried in the Ask JV thread should be some posts from JV1973 where he clearly does not like Lim. He blamed Lim. Who knows who is right.

I believe van Diemen. Lim? No way, a bad spot on your team. San Millan? Same as van Diemen I guess.

The only thing I have 'against' those guys is: they know things are humanly impossible and did not raise flagsto the grand public. But, being human as well. I can understand. Being cynical does not mean being stupid.

Let's not overdo the part of Lim in pro - cycling. That would be too funny. Small fish, he is nowhere in regards to the staff of former Pro Team Katusha, won't even mention the Astana/Ferarra staff in the same sentence...

Allen is like the crazy, drunk uncle in the family. I have to admit I know him, but I don't really want to. And he's not invited to Christmas dinner.

Digger, all I'm saying is that different people tell me different stuff on this. I don't know. I don't care! Perhaps you underestimate how much Allen ****ed me off leaving for RS in 2009. The guy who extolled clean racing to me and told me all the horrible stories about Discovery, which made it to IM via Frankie...that guy went and worked for the person he claimed to hate. It's all I can do to be objective here. believe me, it'd be much easier to just call the guy names, etc.

However, that just ain't cool.

I still remember Lim being blindsided by the news that Floyd spilled the beans during the Amgen tour.
He looked like a kid whose hands were just caught in the cookie jar, and looked at the reporter as if s/he was his ally and said something along the lines of as follows:
"I don't know why he'd say that. He's crazy, right?"
Obviously Lim is an intelligent guy, but clearly he missed the PR training class.

i spoke to Lim once, or atleast emailed him.

about 2009ish, over a young Sino MA Haijun.

he coulda been a TdF champ, he beat Froomedawg in the 2007ish B World Champ chrono, and we were told this demonstrated the Kenyan;s bona fiders.
