That is a cool staircase. It looks like it may have been carved from a single log. At worst it was joined (although I don't see any) but regardless it's a beautiful use of material.

Upon a second look I do see some joinery on the (under)treads but the spine appears singular. Doesn't really matter actually. Primal beauty and refined elegance, I dig it.
