White seems likely to get into trouble but What's the view on Rogers who is named in the witness statements?
My view is there has to be an investigation on him as well, he's been named in an official investigation and decision by a doping agency, surely ASADA has to act now. My view is any rider named in that document has to face questioning.

Now its front page news.....

Love the caption - Cycling boss a drug user.....

and then in box below how the mighty have fallen, while its great this is making mainstream media, some of the reporting is a bit meh.
Funny how they mentioned he "popped up" in the Landis emails. Those emails have been circulating for 2 years!

It's not fashionable to be associated with Lance anymore.

I also note a article on Ian Thrope. Drugs will do that. Massive come down.

They all had their heads buried in the sand hoping it would go away, there is a long list of journalists, bloggers, officials, race owners, a Premier and ex pro's that should hang their head in shame over what's gone on in the last two years (at least). A huge bunch of hypocrites with the garbage that is now coming out post sanction.

I guess that what is old news for us, is new news for majority of joe public out there. I am just a little impressed that they have actually picked it up and put it in the general news stories instead of burying it in the sports news.

White, Rogers and Davis are all mentioned in that article on the FRONT PAGE of today's weekend edition of the Sydney Morning Herald.

My take on it FWIW is that these guys will now face intense scrutiny - especially as it appears issues have been whitewashed in Australian Cycling (the Govt enquiry etc) for some time.. ASADA have sat on the White report for 2 plus years why?

I imagine FOI requests are flying in at the moment to see who knows what and why they have not acted. The Journalists now have a lot of face to save so NOBODY will be out of bounds and that will include Rogers. He will be facing pressure from both British cycling interests and Australian cycling interests.

"On page 2 of that document, the last two lines of the first paragraph that again refer to 2003 are almost verbatim to what Landis said in his affidavit. They read: ''While training for that Vuelta, I spent a good deal of time training with Matthew White and Michael Barry and shared the testosterone and EPO that we had and discussed the use thereof while training.''
Contacted by the Herald yesterday, White said he could not yet comment but the CA president, Klaus Mueller, said CA hoped to contact White as soon as possible."

I could tell you some stories about Whitey & SOG in Adelaide.
Go on, hog. These two have always represented everything that's wrong with cycling in Australia - it's full of dumb bullies only interested in being "hard men".

Funny you say that. Remember the rumors about a failed drug test when he suddenly announced his retirement...

This article (Peter Kogoy) mentions the Matt white case -no case to answer- funny can't find the Asada paperwork will keep searching

Actually hold that - not sure that ASADA said that at all:

In February 2011, ASADA made the following statement to Cyclingnews:

"ASADA is aware of media reports about the doping claims made by Floyd Landis
When and what we can say about any operational matter is strictly governed by our legislation
Under our legislation ASADA is unable to provide further comment at this time"

No mention of "No case to answer there" One of the journalists has got it wrong

That was the statement from ASADA that cycling news reported in the Jane Aubrey article

Hope Matt White reveals the TRUE extent to what his involvement was in doping for his WHOLE career and not just as a rider.

why? it would just be stating the obvious. why should he be prostrate on his walk to the guillotine. Thats one mangled metaphor, but Camus would say something.

Not about White. Not about any individual. Wrong to fosuc on individual
