Hope Remco now knows it’s not always a 15kg heavier Wout you drag along. Insane km leadout. Just play the game and try to get in the wheels. Hope he learned his lesson. Could’ve won out of the slipstream.

But good win for Skjelmose. Also deserved. Going solo behind Pogi, working with Remco. And did a strong sprint. Well done.

Hate that people are playing down Skjelmose's win already by saying it was just thanks to Remco. He obviously isn't as good as the other two, but he rode hard and rode well and fully deserved his win. We can't complain about underdogs not winning and then also play down said underdogs' performances when they win.

why didn't Remco do a bike throw?

That seems to have been the difference. He not know how to do that? His sprint has become world class, but you HAVE to do the bike throw!

It's good that Pogacar knows he can be caught, it'll play into his psyche some. Remco can also gain a lot of confidence from the last 2 races, he's definitely back to the top. This bids well for the coming race and season!
