I am far from a Pidcock fan but its deserved that he finally wins this race. Hirschi really good though, he will be one of the biggest favourites for Flèche.

Surprised to see Mauri finishing fourth in a race of this level.

This is really a great parcours for Pidcock and Hirschi. If they switched kits you couldn’t tell them apart.

I don't think he was even close to that.
It got to within a wheel, which I'd say is uncomfortably close.

Either way, lovely win by Pidcock. I think he's definitely established himself at the head of the post Pogacar/Remco hilly classics grouping of riders.

Im so sick of producers just not caring about anything that happens behind the winner. It makes zero sense to film the guys that finished rolling after the finish line when the peloton sprints for top 10 just behind them…

And they have still not shown it...
