And now...

4 months winter depression. I for myself will be looking to book a sunshine holiday somewhere in January, just to have something to look forward to.

What are you gonna do in the cold months without racing?

Mainly all forms of skiing and skating + cyclocross. Simply, in summer = cycling, in winter = skiing.

And then other sports which I follow a little bit all year long - football, basketball, ice hockey and golf.

I've been waiting all summer for 6-day season to get here, and it finally starts monday... and there is the hipster approved cyclocross season just underway... and it's the only time of the year that you don't feel guilty for not riding

Well time to look for another job, school, unemployment gig where its a lot warmer year round, you have four months to get-er done, you're not doing anything else.

And now

And now the end is here

And so I face the final curtain

My friend, I’ll say it clear

I’ll state my case of which I’m certain

I’ve lived a life that’s full

I’ve travelled each and every highway

And more, much more than this, I did it on a bicycle.

If it's football you are talking about watch La Liga instead. That is football.

La Liga is worse than the Premiership. At least more than two teams can win the Premiership (three can).

I wonder where this thing about the Spanish playing beautiful football springs from. Yes, Barcelona run circles around everybody with stunning play, but they're the exception, not the norm. Did we forget that they underachieved for 50 years by playing attractive football, then won the World cup by winning 1-0, 1-0, 1-0 and 1-0 in the knockout stages?

I'd rather watch Bolton - Wolverhampton than Bacelona - Racing Santander (which was on air tonight) any day. Though Barcelona play beautiful football and are the best team in the world it's absolutely boring to see them having the ball 70% of the time without any progress.

Had good money on a handicap-bet though. Never fails.
