Organisers would surely prefer Pogi as the winner, so it must have been a true race.
It's definitely not pre-arranged at all. Del Toro losing 2 and a half minutes to Roglic on an 8km climb is the expected result.
Probably not pre-arranged in the sense that they told Del Toro to drop x minutes or whatever, probably just it was understand by all that there were absolutely no stakes whatsoever. Roglic had some anger to get out.

They all drove in the same car, Del Toro got a really bad haircut, it looked like fun for the people, I would have rather seen @80+ year old women race, more excitement.

I just went for a snoop around the organiser's Instagram page and in every single image or video, Vingegaard just looks absolutely thrilled to have been invited. I bet he's not even ridden his bike since Europeans.
The video of them all arriving in the same minivan is one of my favourite cycling moments this year. Vingegaard is wearing the world's biggest coat, del Toro looks like he's a work experience kid who accidentally walked into an important board meeting and Pogacar looks like he's on a stag do with his mates. Roglic, meanwhile, somehow makes cycling gear look cool. No, I don't know how either.
Didn't someone previously post a photo of him wearing a massive coat...visiting a garden center I think.
Wait, what...weren't they all supposed to have at least 3 shots apiece at the hotel the night before? What kind of grudge race wouldn't require that?
No, no, no, NO! I've raced forever (no longer) and had good and bad kits along with great form. When an in-law member of a tennis club said "your cycling costume is pretty tight" as she was checking out my waistline said it all. Her golfer husband was ever so curated in shoes and pleated pants but no shirt could hide his gut.
Cyclists in kit look like skinny meat-sticks to that roach being in Men in Black. It's why mountain bikers hate us.

Pogi took it seriously but lost to Rogla by 20 seconds. Others were demolished. This shows who really has the best fresh w/kg.
Roglic should win every race next season and if Remco dont know he has been signed as a super-dom, he knows it now.
I'm just wondering where Remco would have finished, 35 min plus?
Maybe he would still be out there somewhere in the Andorra mountains. On a sunny day you might still be able to spot an arm waving in the air.
