Organisers would surely prefer Pogi as the winner, so it must have been a true race.

It's definitely not pre-arranged at all. Del Toro losing 2 and a half minutes to Roglic on an 8km climb is the expected result.

Probably not pre-arranged in the sense that they told Del Toro to drop x minutes or whatever, probably just it was understand by all that there were absolutely no stakes whatsoever. Roglic had some anger to get out.

They all drove in the same car, Del Toro got a really bad haircut, it looked like fun for the people, I would have rather seen @80+ year old women race, more excitement.

I just went for a snoop around the organiser's Instagram page and in every single image or video, Vingegaard just looks absolutely thrilled to have been invited. I bet he's not even ridden his bike since Europeans.

He should be for the bank that got him there. Now they can afford to have someone put new floors in the kitchen for them.

The video of them all arriving in the same minivan is one of my favourite cycling moments this year. Vingegaard is wearing the world's biggest coat, del Toro looks like he's a work experience kid who accidentally walked into an important board meeting and Pogacar looks like he's on a stag do with his mates. Roglic, meanwhile, somehow makes cycling gear look cool. No, I don't know how either.
