How would it work with both Andy and Nibs at Astana? They will both want a Tour leader role - after this year's podium, Nibs will settle for nothing less, and we know how Andy is allergic to any GT that doesn't end in Paris. Dual leader time? Or, more likely, no Andy?

Nibali at Giro, Andy at Tour?

After this year, IMHO Andy doesn't deserve a leader position at the Tour.

Do you really think Nibali would give up the Tour after what he has proven this year?

Not at all. Nibali is Sicilian so I gave him the Giro. (I'm Sicilian, so I would love for him to win it.)

They both have podiumed the Tour, but with Andy's performance this year, if I was the team manager I would give Nibali the choice.

Whoops, didn't know that. I guess he strongly believes he will win it then. Astana Schleck might actually work....

He is Italian of course Giro is the most important goal for him, one of the reason he left Liqui is that he and Ivan have conflict about riding Giro. He actually really wanted to ride this year Giro. Anyway Nibali is never obsessed with Tour in the past, and he won't be obsessed with Tour in the future until he won A Giro.

Andy in decent shape is better than Nibali in top shape
This fail year will probably have a big impact in his performance next year, his endurance will suffer a lot, we will probably never see a 2010 Schleck again and i think the main duel will now be Contador vs Froome

This year has been a write off for Andy. He will ride the USA races for training and then the season will be over. Riding the Vuelta would not have achieved anything. He could do better without Frank by his side if he is in the right team with the right DS.

Hmmm. Columbia gets no respect. Neither does Qinghai Lake.

Someone remind me of what Andy accomplished this year. There must be something.

And Wigans calls the fans bone-idle ****ers. Maybe he should have a talk with Little Orphan Andy.
He has a top 60 in L-B-L :D

But such a bad year for Abandy must mean that he will suffer in 2013, no?

Right. Without any hard racing and a GT it will be very, very hard for him to have a good 2013.
You can only simulate races by training until a certain amount.
So I don't expect much from him in the fist half of 2013.

I'm starting to think Andy doesn't want to ride under Bruyneel. Maybe he actually believes Fränk!

And I don't think he likes to train that much either.

And that is different how from other years? :D
