He's got the right attitude, looking forward to seeing him getting back to his old self again. :)

I hope he doesn't. He should start taking other races than Tour and LBL seriously.

Will be great to see Andy get back to form. I would like to see him take the top step at the tour this year:)

Hope he gets some Serious TT training in before the summer though

Do you do anything but post about how much you love Contador and talk down Andy?

But what motivates me is that I want to win

"I think it's important for me to get to the classic with a lot of races in the legs,"

He'll be doing lots of races, he says he wants to win again. Sounds like he has the motivation to return and win races, and will be serious in other races.

Andy to win the Tour by 15 minutes. :D

They are both great. Of course if Alberto is better than Andy at the tour then I will still be happy. If either of them win then we know its been a good race:)

Andy is the written-off underdog. He is hopefully running in the snow just now or punching a dead cow, while listening to eye of the tiger.

 Is it a bad thing that I hope he starts racing seriously all season long

But "win again" could mean he just wants to win tour stages again

I want him to be serious in every race. The way he's raced the past two-three seasons is a disgrace.

The only thing you've posted in this thread today are posts doubting that he will return or be serious in the races he enters. So yeah, I consider that talking him down.

But "win again" could mean he just wants to win tour stages again

Or by "win again" he could mean he wants to dominate like 2011 Phil and win every race he enters. :D I'm fine with either scenario, just as long as he is competitive again.

It's a valid point. AS hasn't exactly lit up the racing world with his professionalism IMO. Chaingates 1 & 2, the lightest of light race schedules and a complete absence from anything outside of the Ardennes & TdF.

I don't have a problem with his race schedule, just the vast variation in his seeming motivation to actually race. His form goes from elite level to having the broowagon riding his wheel. It just seems that such an immense talent could display it for the fans a bit more often, not just show up and ride in the peloton. He's talking like he's really serious about his stature and image in the sport as a whole, so we'll see in 2013 if he's matured or not.

Business as usual.
First to react on Schleck news are terrified convict's fans.

I'm not terrified. I know Alberto will always beat Andy if he doesn't crash or lose time on flat stages. Because Andy might be able to match Alberto in the mountains when he's at his best (note: might, Alberto will beat him most of the time ofc :D), Alberto will always crush him in the TT

Nice nickname for Alberto btw. Sounds a bit clinic-y

Vino attacks everyone said:

AS in 100% form = perhaps just as good a climber as AC
but still way worse at tt'ing,if nothing bad happens he can't win

:D

That's what I said :D ;) Poor Andy

Just like I noticed. Reaction time of terrified fans is fascinating.
Arguments you're bringing up are from BC era. AD convict wasn't so convincing.
Let's wait and see.

Maybe if Schleck actually races for more than 5 days out of the year and stops his annoying attitude, I will start to like him. Also, he needs to show a pretty big improvement

Yes, his schedule looks much better, but if he hides in the peloton the whole time who cares?

i doubt very much you will see too much of him going on any lunatic attacks before the TDF , everything pre TDF will be aimed at getting him too peak fitness , i want an epic TDF this year after last years cakewalk by sky .

if he is ever going to win the race i feel it has to be this year where it favors the climbers in a big way but he also has to be at his peak if he is to beat contador so personally i think he will come into the race very quietly and hopefully once again go head to head with alberto .

lets be honest here , would you watch last years TDF again ? i very much doubt it . but would you watch the 2or3 before that again , oh yes !!

pro racing needs both andy and alberto back to there best and we may well be in for the race of the century this summer .

Totally agree with this. With the Sky freak show thrown in as an aside, it should be great come next July:)
