The key to that paragraph is the last word.
Also a real jerk move by the guys in the peloton teasing him. I wish I knew which riders were doing that, I'd never be cheering for them again.

Stop being mean to Andy!

Seriously, he's brought the mocking upon himself. You looking to blame his peers misses the mark in my opinion. Andy made this bed, now he's got to lie in it. At some point he will get out of the bed, or continue to wallow in the crap.

I just don't find mocking someone who is obviously going through a very difficult time funny in any way. And I'm not "blaming" his peers for anything; I just think mocking him is a jerky and undignified thing to do.

My sympathy for the Schleck isn't lesser because of his current condition. On contrary.
All the mocking on this forum and, as we can see, in the peloton contributes to my likes. If everybody who dislike him have the need to mock him, that just shows how inferior they are and that there must be something special in Andy what's out of reach for everybody else, so they're hopelessly jealous and the bullying is the only way they can deal with their misery.
Comparison with Ullrich is spot on, I think. Huge talent and disheveled character. And that's why Ullrich was adored, but Andy somehow isn't. Armstrong factor shouldn't be neglected too, but there's equally dirty alternative now as well. Probably fans are tired of cheering for the bridesmaid, so they've chosen the bride this time.

Do we see a lot of 20Km attacks for the win in LBL often by one of the marked favourites? TDF 2010 was disappointing, frustrating but far from pathetic. Keep it real eh.

uh yes. pretty much every year, last year nibali and year before vino, all further away btw

Not that i know anything, but my guess is that if the peloton is actually mocikng poor old Andy, he is probably not the most easy guy to hang around with. Just like on school when the smart guy that allways gets the A's (and being kind of a jerk about it) suddenly fails massively on a test, we mock him.

No.
Just getting A's, without being a jerk, while having fun in life. That's what makes others (incapable but eager of the same) jealous.

Also, I just can't be on the bandwagon driven by LaFlo, Miburo & co., and fueled by hatred.
I have to collide with it.

Andy is nothing like Der Jan. Ulle was a champion and true class act. Andy is just a spoiled brat, who always whines.

You're probably right.
It's easier to attribute positive traits when you like someone and vise versa.
For example, in just one word I can show you that Jan wasn't such class act and champion.
But, despite everything, worship maintains.

Obvious lies. If you had sincerely empathize with him, you would have acted differently. So you simply relish the things that are okay for you. Stop deluding youself. And exactly this I implied by lack of curture and ill-nature. Though, the poster who asked that question obviously undertood that without my clarification.

But until one says 'I'm glad how Frank's case was decided', you are just pathetic clowns.

Sick
Hissy fit
But get this - I texted Edvald Boasson Hagen to see what the real story was and he told me that Schleck wasn't sick at all in France. Apparently he just needs some more miles in his legs before he hits good form and the other guys in the peloton were teasing him about how he couldn't take a turn up the front. They ended calling him Frank all day and he pretty much chucked a massive hissy fit and quit the race. I love being 'in' with the top pros and getting all the gossip.
From the link above:

that a bit of a jerk move really mock him all you want but calling him Frank while they know he's having a hard time because of what's happening to his bro is low.

Though leave it to Andy to throw a fit and abandon the race.

So because we don't like the outcome of Fränk's case because it isn't according to the rules we are pathetic clowns? Thanks man, you're always so polite.

I wonder if AS's whinging about descents, poor weather coupled with having others imposing on the peloton to accommodate their needs simply rubs his colleagues up the wrong way. Or perhaps they have an idea that Schleck Jr ain't that different to his brother?

What language is this written in because goggle-translate can't auto-detect it?

I sadly can't remember what rider is was (Aussie or South African or British or something like it) that told a danish reporter about how they acted in the TdF peloton. The said they acted like little Kings, trying to command everybody els. Although I think he was paraphrasing the "Kings" as there were children watching.

I hope this will lead to Andy stepping up and getting a grip on his career. Still time for a massive form spike at the tour.
