No idea.

But I would like to hear the story :)

2/3 peloton began a strike against ASO, UCI and gendarmerie near the start line. The guys firstly refused starting. Contador and Leipheimer were going past them as nothing happend whereupon Contador gave an idiotic short interview for Eurosport and said that all these things don't beautify cycling, governing bodies must trust them new guys (damn what a freak) and that he is strongly disagree with striking guys because henceforth cycling is new and he is allegedly an bright example of it.

He will be fine. Grupetto ride.

Maybe but I seriously hope not. I've got my fingers crossed he can at least test his legs at some point. But I know probably not.

Schleck is a July rider (+1 day), he mostly looks like an amateau racer in other events . Sure things are complicated this year, but the real test will come during LBL time. If not somewhat competitive, its game over this year.

I take it you will be more than happy with the others to see him in the Grupetto from now on in.
I'm not happy to see him ride like a loser. But I do expect him to DNF the day after tomorrow.

He just has to finish. He is in no position to do any better and I doubt he would try for a stage win because he does not have the conditioning yet. If he finishes in the Grupetto every day, fine, at least he is getting kms in the legs.

On a positive note he says that Andy was dropped during the TTT while on the descent. I would have been more concerned if it had been fitness related.

Hope he puts in a decent effort today!

That stood out to me as well, I assumed before he was dropped because of his fitness level, so good to hear he is at a level where he could have hung in longer.
As has been stated before, now he just has to mentally heal, while continuing to improve his fitness. Today should be a good test for him to see how he handles the big mountains.
