the recent 2010 Tour winner has a record of 2 races finished vs 4 DNF. Not bad.

2010 was 2 years ago.

you should've said the 2011 giro winner..

You should check the data again. He won two month ago not two year ago with a legendary attack in the difficult slopes of CAS palace.

Don't worry about Contador, when I quote him I do as future 2012 Vuelta winner.

The Luxembourger drafted behind the team car for a long time, received a couple of pushes and eventually joined the rear of the peloton about six kilometres later, just before the Hagaard climb at 32km from the finish line. On that climb Schleck didn't gain ground and again lost touch with the peloton.
Eventually, he sat up and ten kilometres later Schleck crossed the finish line for the first of four local laps more than three minutes behind the peloton. Schleck abandoned the race soon afterwards.

Well done Andrew! You get a gold star for being a very brave boy!
I know it must have been a hard decision to only drink 8 beers last night, but at least it enabled you to start the race! Well done!!!!!

I heard Andy´s weight is about 67/68 kg. Couple his low fat percentage + high power output = awesome climbing skills . To me he looks healthy (for a pro cyclist). He can´t just gain 2kg to look ´more healthy´.. That could cost him 2-3 minutes on a long climb. Besides I´m sure he knows perfectly fine what his ideal weight is.

He did crash though:

Schleck's test ended after 126km when he crashed on a wet, slippery roundabout at 69km from the finish line in Overijse, Belgium along with several other riders.

He might have been hurt ore something.. Could explain why it took him some time to return to the peloton and why he later got dropped again.

what does that mean?

andy is lacking 7-8 kg to look minimally normal.

Muscle weighs more than fat of the same volume from what I remember (I might be wrong). So you might have a 186 cm average joe that looks a lot "bigger" than Andy because of fat padding, even though underneath he has less muscle. Now I'm not talking obesity, just the kind of fat that you have from not being a pro/very serious athlete.

This discussion is pointless anyway, because if you manage to take part in 100km+ bike races at these speeds, you are obviously healthy, otherwise you'd just crack. "Healthy-looking" is just subjective. I think Wiggins looks a lot worse.

By the way, he is 68 kg according to RSN website.

What a weird vision you have where Andy Raymond Schleck is greater than Alberto Contador Velasco in Grand Tours.

everything is pretty clear. gts is the tour and andy dominates there. the vuelta and the giro is kind of seria b and andy as a generous man lets other guys show themselves at their best in these races. surely i'm saying this not without irony but n point of fact this is the case
