You mean Heras!Watts2Win has Almeida/Vingegaard as 20s slower on the hard sectino of the Angliru.
Rogla still rules the Rampas
He was Almeida’s carrot.Rogla monster mythical climber and he wasn't even here today.
It‘s the Jay Vine effectKuss posted on Strava. They were slower than 2023 on the steep section by a healthy margin
2025
2023 for reference

Funnily enough, Cordal was the opposite, being raced slower overall than in 2023 but 15s faster than the steepest final 1.5km.
Don't forget that those records wouldn't exist without Vingegaard. He pushed them to the limit. Even Heras was haunted by a vision of a future Danish monster all the way to the top 25 years ago.
Exactly.Vingo created Pogi's Ventoux record and strongly contributed to PdB all-time performance. Not that sure about Heras though![]()
I think he would have been smoked if he’d come, to be honest. If he hadn’t raced (and crashed out of) the Giro, then I agree, he would be there in it for the win. Not easily, though. Last year’s form probably enough to be right there with Vingegaard in the standings right now, IMO. Should have the 2023 Vuelta title too.Yesterday's stage only confirmed my suspicions that Roglic would have easily won this year's Vuelta.
If he did all 3 or if he had skipped the Tour?Yesterday's stage only confirmed my suspicions that Roglic would have easily won this year's Vuelta.
I didn't see him cooking in an uphill sprint tailormade for himIf he did all 3 or if he had skipped the Tour?
Anyway if nothing else I'm convinced Bora were absolutely ready to cook in the Giro.
