That will be the American team where a Brit and a German win all the races after being set up by an Ozzie leadout man?

By the same token Sky is clearly a spoilt Scandinavian child* of a team :p

*I am sure it will grow up quite nicely though, as they do.

We have no problem with immigrants...as long as they don't speak Spanish. Our melting pot of a team will crush our enemies and see them driven behind us. The lamentation of the women will be sweet to hear.

As a dual national I am very proud of the British/American most winningest cycling team in the world.

A bunch of Scandy 'cant hold their wee-wee in' losers in the pocket of an Aussie media tyrant I can leave.

Until they start winning of course, then they will be as British as Queen Victoria ;)

Sky's GT contenders are planning on breaking the world record for going without a pee sometime between now and the end of July.

Well, from all the quotes and reviews I have read it seems Sky were wrong for blasting through the feed zone and Cervelo and Columbia were wrong for taking it on when EBH stopped for a pee.

OK it was only 55km to the end and he should learn but holding back for 10 minutes wouldn't have made any difference.

All in all, I don't think Sky, Cervelo, Columbia or Garmin have come out of this very well. It just makes cycling look pathetic and full of stupid point scoring between bickering teams. They're all acting like spoilt children!

AFAIK Rupert Murdoch relinquished his Australian citizenship to become an American some years ago.

Just saw the tour go past my house, pretty cool I hope they do it again next year. Balan was in a breack that had about 1:30 ON THE MAIN GROUP. No peeing I guess:)

I don't think anyone is taking this race too seriously except for the sprints they do seem to be going for it at the finishes at least the finishes I have seen.

I disagee strongly.

The mistakes he has made this week have been absolutely laughable, its been like having murray walker commentating on cycling.. And its not even live, hes had plenty of time to rehearse and he still makes mistakes..

guys a numpty..

Dimspace- Follow cyclingresults on twitter http://twitter.com/cyclingresults.

Occasional updates of Oman and Algarve. Last update states 'Nikita Eskov, Matthe Pronk and Alessandro Ballan 1:35 min ahead of peloton after 111 km. Still 37 km to go'.

Best I can find.

yeh, thats the last update.. tour of oman twitter stop giving details after 30k, and then they dont give anything again till they give the result (usually an hour after everyone else)

I'm maybe 25 km from the finish, they didn't look like they were chasing too hard but I'm sure they will be caught.

Tomorrow should be decisive. I can't wait to watch them climb that hill again!!

So results are:
1 Tom Boonen (Bel) Quick Step
2 Juan José Haedo (Arg) Team Saxo Bank
3 Michael Van Stayen (Bel) Topsport Vlaanderen - Mercator
4 Tyler Farrar (USA) Garmin - Transitions
5 Edvald Boasson Hagen (Nor) Sky Pro Cycling Team
6 Daniele Bennati (Ita) Liquigas-Doimo

That means Bennati is still in the lead with 2 seconds to Boonen, 6 seconds to Farrar and 16 seconds to Cancellara. I'm guessing Cancellara takes this one with Boonen in second place perhaps.

Never heard of Van Stayen before. Great to see an other Belgian sprinting talent.

I'm saying Boonen for GC (and possibly for TT)

That would be my pick too. He is in strong form and unlike Canc wasn't dropped by his team in the TTT at Qatar

Cancellara was sick for the TTT, so my money is still on Cancellara.
