but what a colourless victory that would be. Not being able to hang with the best, what, 20? In the queen stage...

Yeah, but what's realy colourless is the route. Hopefully the'll at least use today's climb. It's the last chance to catch Brutt anyway.

Good luck making up two minutes on Pavel Brutt on this course. He has this race in the bag.

Kind of what I was thinking but Brutt himself doesn't think he can win the overall. Unless it's just false modesty.

I don't think he realized how big the gap was, and how easy the course.

Coverage starts in 5-10mins... if any cares. They are probably a fair distance from the climb still.

Edit: 121km down, so still 40-50mins to the climb.

Ticker last said anything about half an hour ago - judging from that i think they are about half an hour from the start of the climb. Kern and Bouet out in front by probably a couple of minutes.

Eurosport starts.
Ah, I remember this Garzelli finish well.
Not that bad.
Was one of the "easier" stages, that year.

Rick Flens of Rabobank is leading the peloton. I'm curious for who, LL Sanchez is completely out of shape.

Freire, might make it over the climb and then the finish climb should suit him

Hopefully riders like Vino, Evans and Cunego going to try something on the 1st cat climb. Otherwise the Tour de Romandie will be for Brutt.

Wish you were right, but I fear that the big teams messed it up yesterday, unless the four explode today or in the ITT...
