The motorbikes were FAR to close to the peleton at times today - I'll never understand why the moto's aren't always 50 metres ahead.

My first post here was marked as spam :D. Lol. Anway, as i said in my post the moto riders are french, from ASO organisation from the Tour. The Helicopter camera men also. This race is owned and sponsored by ASO, the tour de france organisation .. 12 pro teams on start..

Police is Norwegian though..

On the motos are Tom de Weale, Cyclingnews(or procycling or other), Eurosport, Norwegian TV2, local newspapers, police, way attendants and so on.

Only the way attendants should have a green light in my mind, all the media in the world can wait if it means potentially one less rider hurt. The heli and ass peloton pictures are enough.

Normally though, the tv bikes is better - save some mountain in Farnce earlier this summer!

Well, i think everyone of us that watch cycling are fed up with the motos being to close to the riders.. The reason they are close is cause its almost impossible to have a decent inpic of the riders zooming in from more than 20 meters.. The cameraman says closer closer , and the moto-rider dont know sheit .. So there should be some rules in place here for moto ofc. This happens all the time, it irritated me 10 years ago and still does. But im tired of getting irritated of it.

4 worst.
1. A moto to close to an attacking rider i think is worse than a moto to close to peloton.
2. A moto close to a peloton chasing a sprint finish catching a break.
3. A moto to close to favorites that u know gonna use the moto as a target for attack.
4. A moto crashing.

Agree for the peloton, they had an easy job today what with the 4 motos pacing in formation ahead. For the breaks not so much. Great win for Moscon, what kind of rider is he - 3week or oneday?

Too soon to tell. And possibly neither, of course.

Peloton had full control even with 4 American Trucks in front to pace, they closed the gap to fast twice and stopped to pull .. This aint an example of moto problem at all.

He is a one-day rider for sure. All puncheurs ever are one day riders :D

Yup, but every rider with not too much hype and with obvious talent needs to be looked at and not further hyped! Is he neo, where to ride next season?

Agreed, so what is more important, having nice pics from ahead, or having a safe and equal race? No need for those 4 motos at front (saw most of last 70k)

I agree with u 100 percent, i was just trying to explain the stupid thinking of the moto; also to point out that most of the camera moto and helis are from the Tour De France/ASO .. They should be the best right?

As i said, i agree. Just trying to explain the problem further my friend :D

He's a neo, so he's got a two-year contract. With Sky next season. 2nd in the U23 Ronde, and quite possibly a cobbles specialist. Also he plays he accordion and has a degree in engineering.

I see just now on todays broadcast that KA Arvesen(DS Sky, former hero) say he's a big guy so probably you are right for cobbles or maybe amstel/MS. For a big guy - even greater the win yesterday! What is hes numbers, height/weight?

Sorry looks like my last post there was a bit out of line of thinking or something. I think we agreed all along ;)
