Wout van Aert?Mocking that "other" cyclist from Belgium ... you know the one with silly winning gestures.
Makes sense if you want to become an olympic gold medalistThe guy who delivers pizza -
When his contract is up I guess? Can’t they already talk about that? It's been posted that De Lie told the press that Lefereve wanted to know if he could fly by helicopter to De Lie's farm to talk about a move.
Somehow this just about sums up pro-cycling ...
I think there is no need that every big Belgian Flandrien Classics star has to ride for Lefevere’s team. It's been posted that De Lie told the press that Lefereve wanted to know if he could fly by helicopter to De Lie's farm to talk about a move.

It's been a while since Lefevere had the best Belgian Flandrien Classics start in his team. Basically since Tom Boonen.I think there is no need that every big Belgian Flandrien Classics star has to ride for Lefevere’s team.
When Arnaud De Lie came to visit, the talented youngster was impressed by one set of paintings in particular. "There is a room with only paintings of horses, one with paintings of cats. And there is also one with only naked women on the wall. I can't sleep in that again! It's the guest room. Arnaud De Lie, for example, has already slept there. He had a choice of two rooms, but he definitely went for that one!" Campenaerts recalls to an uproar of laughter.
“I felt really good,” De Lie told RTBF afterwards. “We were with three Visma riders, but I think they were afraid of us too. If you have three riders and you know you can win, you don’t attack, you just ride. In the end, it was Tratnik who won, but they played poker.
“Frankly, Skuijns and I were maybe the two strongest riders, but playing against three of them was difficult all the same. We can’t all be Ian Stannard, who was able to do that a decade ago [in 2015 against QuickStep – ed.] But I’m very happy with my form. Everybody thought I was going badly but today I showed that I was going well.”

They had to go 100% all in -- it was their only chance to win, I think.De Lie looked strong which augurs well for future riders. Though I couldn't understand the tactics of bringing all four riders to the front in the final 5kms to chase Politt and Tratnik. Thought two would have been enough and leave DeBuyst to do a lead out for De Lie.
He clearly hasn‘t watched 2015 Het Nieuwsblad, although just riding to the finish would have actually worked then.Lol.
De Lie talks about it in the rest of the quote. He clearly hasn‘t watched 2015 Het Nieuwsblad, although just riding to the finish would have actually worked then.
Arnaud's down for Le Samyn on Tuesday so get your "work from home" excuse ready and ...no Visma!
Ok, "phone in sick" excuse then ...Some of us have jobs that literally can't be done remotely...
Luckily it could have been a worse crash, but a shame that he did n't get the chance for a win. Time to heal some bruises and scrapes (and maybe take it a little easier amongst the cars next time) before Paris-Nice on Sunday.Le Samyn - "Okay, I arrived quickly. But if the car keeps the same speed as me, I can approach the corner better and I won't fall," said De Lie in a report on Het Nieuwsblad. "It's not me who makes the mistake, it's the car. I don't know why he's braking. But because of him I may now have one less victory. So thank you.”
He is in his early 20th, it's still everyone's around fault)) he just needs to grow up, cause if not this outburst he could still get up, chase the peloton down and win the raceBiggest issue I have with his statement is that the car driver does whatever he wants to do. However he wants to react in the situation in front of him. You aren't in control of the car, so don't assume he'll do whatever you think he will do when you don't have a proper view of the situation anyway. Don't blame the driver that you took more risks by being so close to it to get back more quickly.
I agree, it's definitely his age. He'll learn over time. Look at Evenepoel and how he has matured since he was 19.He is in his early 20th, it's still everyone's around fault)) he just needs to grow up, cause if not this outburst he could still get up, chase the peloton down and win the race
