Articles on how to choose a bike

A good place to start is answering some questions about yourself and how you will use the bike.
Pretty much ANY bike of reasonable size can be used for exercise and local transportation.

1) What is your realistic $$ budget? Also consider the 'extra' items that will be needed.

2) Does brand name, image, or appearance make any difference to you?

3) Are you willing (and able) to do basic repair and maintenance for the bike?

4) Do you have any specific goals in mind for your rides?

5) What type of terrain will you be riding in? e.g. paved roads, city traffic, hills, dirt, etc.
