Of course Astana is dodgy, but is it really necessary to keep pointing it out? We have eyes and a brain too.

Half the contenders dropped out because they sucked; the group is still quite large.

Still, then, there are 6 Astanas better than half the contenders.
Which means zilch when we hadn't had any real mountains to test whether those contenders were real.

We might well see 6 Astanas in a group of 15, but that hasn't happened yet.

5 in a group of 14. Close enough.

Aru must not be much of a talent if the Astana programme can make freaking Landa better.
Guess they couldn't give Aru as much of the good stuff due to his problems with the bio passport.

And the happened with Landa when he crossed the line ?

He looked like a "I didn't go all out, I have plenty more to give". He looked really fresh IMO

The way he closed down the Russian was pretty neat. Having a chat with Bert and Fab, and then pushes the pedals a few times and there he is.

Today's display by Astana goes beyond confirming what we already know, it was a performance akin to spitting in all of our eyes.

Average speed for the stage ... something like 38 kmh... uphill...? 5 guys at the final climb.... Astana's idea of "normal"..

Yeah this is pure teamwide doping going on. Didnt think id ever see that in cycling again, but here it is.

Vino really really REALLY dont give a ****.

you forgot about 2012 already?
No, thats why I said I didnt think id see it again. I had some hope that doping would forever be pushed back to tiny individual programs for just the team leaders. But Astana just *** my head.

Who is to say Aru is a better talent than Landa anyway? Landa might just be a more talented climber

Funny how he sucked since he's with Astana and a month or so ago in the year when his contract will expire he suddenly becomes very good. Climbing better than Bertie at the end of the second week

All good, wog doping is ok, it's only the Anglos we have to worry about

being the voice of reason and all evidence based analysis, why are you not spending thousands of posts defending Aru from these unfounded allegations?
