Fabio Mazzuco wins the Strade Bianche stage in front of Tirol duo Markus Wildauer and Georg Zimmermann. Mazzuco also takes the race lead from Hayter.

Edit: Apparently Zimmermann was in front with Mazzuco but punctured with 12k to go enabling Mazzuco to win solo.

Arensman is hurt all over his body with road rash and burned off some skin. Quite sad, he hoped to take revenge for last year (when he also fell).

Maybe the new Kelderman/Gesink?

The best climber this Colombian generation has to offer by far. There was a MTT in the Vuelta a Colombia U23 this year. He put minutes into everyone, including Alexander Cepeda.

The best climber this Colombian generation has to offer by far. There was a MTT in the Vuelta a Colombia U23 this year. He put minutes into everyone, including Alexander Cepeda.

Strongman is the strongest (haha) team in the race. Peña joined the break and EPM weren’t able to take him back.

Bagioli DNFs, Arensman and Donovan battered up, Zimmermann ill, Axeon nowhere to be seen. The race already took its toll.

Will be interesting to see if Verschaeve can avoid bad days he sometimes has.

Yeah Verschaeve was in the early break and then went solo more than 50km from the finish.

Bagioli abandoned with a stomach bug.
