Strade Bianche + double Mortirolo + Fedaia (although in a very short stage) got my attention.

I'll try to watch as many stages I can.

Would like to see that Maniva climb in the Giro. Or just any other MTF not in the Alps apart from Montervergine, Etna, Abetone and the usual weak stuff

Actually, what is the highest you can climb on Blockhaus while still descending it in a race? Cause that seems like a lot of untapped potential to me.

You can get just as high as they got in 2017 iirc, and then descend into Passo Lanciano, then descend to Pretoro and climb Passo Lanciano from Lettomanoppello just for the heck of it.

Yeah, San Pellegrino in Alpe.

I was looking for Passo Pradaccio but I do ignore state of the road at all costs and advocate Passo Tremalzo every year.

According to his Instagram, Thymen Arensman (runner up at last years Tour de L'Avenir, behind Pogacar) he's working towards the Baby Giro.

I don't know if other (interesting) riders have been confirmed.

Definitely. There are three ways up to Blockhaus/Lanciano. They could ascend the westernmost one from Roccarmorice and end up at Majelletta, about 5 kms above Passo Lanciano, then descend via Pretoro to Manoppello and then climb again to Lanciano, Majelletta or all the way to Blockhaus. That would mean a 14 km, 8 % climb followed by a climb of something like 18-22 km and 7,5 % depending on the exact finish location.

That and a San Pellegrino in Alpe-Abetone combo is probably the best you can do in the Apenninnes.

I have no idea. I also don't know if all these guys know already. Just yesterday I asked a parent of a Belgian U23 rider that will ride Course de la Paix this week, if he was going to the Baby Giro or L'Avenir, and they still didn't know.

What about Blockhaus?

I was just being a bit of a dramaqueen I guess. Dont know how much they have used the climb beforehand, but they have used Blockhaus/Lanciano 3 times since 2006 which is okay I guess. This Giro just underlined that they really ned to do a better job using those climbs instead of playing a waiting game through 12 stages.
