The current article about Kessiakoffs staying with Astana has a bad translation that makes his quote sound a little strange.
The website writes:
"It feels like a carrot to get some more in salary," he said. "There is nothing to justify, to show the team that I deserve it. It is important, but even if another team would pay more money I could not be sure of getting the same freedom to thrive equally well. I do not know if it's worth it. I've been there before, and I will not go there again."
A better translation would be:
"It feels like a carrot to get some more in salary," he said. "It's something that motivates, to show the team that I deserve it. It is important, but even if another team would pay more money I could not be sure of getting the same freedom, to feel at home and to get good equipment and in that case I do not know if it's worth it. I've been there before, and I will not go there again."
