Padun lost 4.5kg (!!) in one training camp?

With the policies of agencies like WADA and UCI in recent years, it's hard to say. Padun isn't a giant like Froome was when he got popped after the 2017 Vuelta (and the results were eventually explained away without penalty), so maybe he's not "too big to fail" . . . but we'll see.To be honest I wouldn't be surprised to see some positive results from them.
That stage didn't go up to the tre cime, it finished in Misurina.Padun won in Tre Cime de Laveredo in 2019. He was always talented, but this is absurd.
He ground them off his wheel like Sayar in Turkey 2013. Faster than all the top riders in 2006, faster than Ullrich, minute faster than 2012 dauphine on the joux plane.
This is really not what Caruso needed after that giro performance. Making things too obvious.
Wouldn't surprise me if he got popped because he won't bring anyone down with him.
I would concede that Padun's performances this weekend (Dauphine, stages 7 and 8) are not as magical a transformation as Froome's at the 2011 Vuelta.Padun won in Tre Cime de Laveredo in 2019. He was always talented, but this is absurd.

Too many ITT kms. It will be Pello BilbaoBased on what we have seen from Bahrain in the last month Landa has to be one of the favorites for TDF
Tratnik.Too many ITT kms. It will be Pello Bilbao
Well Colbrelli had been very strong recently, just as the other Bahrain ridersNow I'm wondering how Colbrelli will go on those flat sprints against Ewan, Bennett etc
They invented disc brakes. It's going forward obviouslySo, how long until we get the next big police raid? It looks like the sport has taken more than a few steps backwards in the last 2 years.
Padun 1'20 faster than the peloton on Joux Plane in 2016. Still 2 minutes slower than PantaniI'm waiting for today's power estimations. Yesterday power data seemed normal. Nothing raising eyebrows.
I could actually live with that one if it weren't for it coming after yesterdayPadun 1'20 faster than the peloton on Joux Plane in 2016. Still 2 minutes slower than Pantani
I'm starting to think that the reason the speeds were not as high at the Giro is the fact that the Italian authorities actjally catch people when they start an investigation. They invented disc brakes. It's going forward obviously
I had a similar idea. I believe it was the only time in my life i had a big brain moment so i decided to brag about it in what i assumed more popular place (y'know, like a little kid i am), but it seems this one is also getting lively.I halfway want him to try to emulate like, mid-00s Rasmussen at the Tour and just try to solo every single Pyrenees stage and see what happens
I would say that Padun wins TdF but i feel he made a gross mistake. If he flew under the radar he could loose like 2-3 min and then go absolutely ham on the first alpine stage, gain like 3-4 mins like a certain Danish chicken and with this form and juice he could as well bring it home to Paris unless he would be popped, also like a certain Danish chicken.
Don't think Ineos has the same political power though as Arnstrong had. The UK market is already secured, they had 3 Tour winners and nowadays everyone is about the Slovenians anyway.favorite comment so far:
"They are going to do to Bahrain and Padun what they did to Iban Mayo in 2003. Tour is INEOS territory."
Doesn't explain Prato di TivoI'm starting to think that the reason the speeds were not as high at the Giro is the fact that the Italian authorities actjally catch people when they start an investigation.
