11k TT, the same distance as the Denmark and Belgium Tour TTs he won this year. There are like two technical turns in this TT so that doesn't explain losing to the likes of Langeveld and Herregodts either. This was poor by his standards, no two ways about it.not sure technical very short TT is his forte.
The wind changed when Remco was on the course, then changed back to tailwind for Affini and the others.11k TT, the same distance as the Denmark and Belgium Tour TTs he won this year. Well he didnt smash the race that's for sure, but as we had no images, we can't just conclude he had no legs. Let's see the other stages first.11k TT, the same distance as the Denmark and Belgium Tour TTs he won this year. Don't make Red Rick choose between his hatred for TTTs and a better chance for Rogla or maybe Dumoulin to win the Tour.Yes I want to see a Jumbo TTT next year, please.
Affini is better at shorter TTs, but maybe having to do all that work early on in the cobbled classics improved his stamina.Outstanding from Affini. Looks like he may be stepping up towards Ganna level on the flat pure power TT parcours. Great ride from Dumoulin showing that he may be able to get right back into contention on almost all types of TT route as a gently rolling course would have tilted the odds far more to his favour.
Well, UAE also has a good TT team. And even with pog at +5min, the Tour will be quite dull when half the peleton is OTL after the Jumbo' Show.Don't make Red Rick choose between his hatred for TTTs and a better chance for Rogla or maybe Dumoulin to win the Tour.
If Affini isn't a disaster at bike handling/positioning he shoudl deffo gets Tony Martins spot in the Tour IMOAffini is better at shorter TTs, but maybe having to do all that work early on in the cobbled classics improved his stamina.
yeah, Evenepoel himself also said that today's ITT is far better for him than the one in Denmark11k TT, the same distance as the Denmark and Belgium Tour TTs he won this year. Can't outdisaster the disastermaster.Tony Martin is a disaster at bike handling
Bissegger will destroy everyone unless it rains for the exact 7 minutes he needs to finish the course.
