not sure technical very short TT is his forte.
11k TT, the same distance as the Denmark and Belgium Tour TTs he won this year. There are like two technical turns in this TT so that doesn't explain losing to the likes of Langeveld and Herregodts either. This was poor by his standards, no two ways about it.

The wind changed when Remco was on the course, then changed back to tailwind for Affini and the others.

Well he didnt smash the race that's for sure, but as we had no images, we can't just conclude he had no legs. Let's see the other stages first.

Outstanding from Affini. Looks like he may be stepping up towards Ganna level on the flat pure power TT parcours. Great ride from Dumoulin showing that he may be able to get right back into contention on almost all types of TT route as a gently rolling course would have tilted the odds far more to his favour.

Affini is better at shorter TTs, but maybe having to do all that work early on in the cobbled classics improved his stamina.

Don't make Red Rick choose between his hatred for TTTs and a better chance for Rogla or maybe Dumoulin to win the Tour.
Well, UAE also has a good TT team. And even with pog at +5min, the Tour will be quite dull when half the peleton is OTL after the Jumbo' Show.

yeah, Evenepoel himself also said that today's ITT is far better for him than the one in Denmark
