Those scars on Phinney's left leg.. ouch

Going for the v-neck!

They couldn't afford a little time in an image editor? Maybe we need a thread on the v-neck? I really don't understand that choice. It's not like the lycra keeps you warm.

Probably buried in this thread, but Italy abandoning traditional Squadra Azzurri jersey is, for me, just terrible.

Brit champs sometimes get black Champion jersey for training/non-official events.
Cav for example also had a black Brit Champ jersey back at OPQS for training.

Thanks, I wondered if this is what it meant. I really like it. Very similar to the French Track kit of a couple of years ago, just upside down flag, but I really like their kit too!

Incidentally, looking though old posts in this thread, many ask why the British National Road Race jersey doesn't have a union jack design instead of the horizontal red, white, blue bands. From what I understand, in the days before fabric printing any design had to be simply stitched together, so simple shapes like stripes are why nearly all traditional national strips in most sports are stripes and not union jack-based. e.g. even up to as late as the 80's this was the straditional design for British Athletics vests. National Road Race Champion jersey, simply uses this tradition. Personally I think it should always remain horizontal bands of red.white & blue.

Well, at least Trek is doing the Nat champ jerseys right! Both Schleck and Zoidl look great! Makes me think Fab needs to win Swiss RR this year...

Lampre switchs to Northwave. By the look of the shoes, I'm betting on more Merida green. Iirc Merida improved their budget on the team. Now, a colourful green plus pink would be nice.

Classic, simple, colorful, I like it. :)

His name there on the front in yellow and green is a nice touch.

Swiss jersey is still poor though. How hard can it be?

Allthough I agree that the full red jersey with a white cross in the middle is the best option I don't agree with you that this is poor.

It's still obviously the swiss champion and really standa out. Poor designs are national champion kits that are just like the other team kita, but with a small flag on it etc.
So far this years national kits look pretty good.
