Swiss jersey is still poor though. How hard can it be?

Quite hard for some:

Not very for others:

At least on the back it has the cross in the centre:

The backs good, especially for helicopter shots. The swiss cross could be a little bigger on the front. But at least it's not as bad as Radioshacks was.

Poor designs are national champion kits that are just like the other team kita, but with a small flag on it etc.
So far this years national kits look pretty good.

I'd argue that since the IAM kit basically has a small Swiss flag on the chest slightly to one side to begin with, it almost appears they've intentionally tried to make it bland. From the front it basically looks as if they just made the regular jersey red. The back is nice though.

The thing that confuses me about IAM's Swiss champ jersey is the fact that since they're a Swiss team you'd think they'd be totally HEY! LOOK AT US! WE HAVE THE SWISS CHAMPION! - Swiss flag all over the place.
Not, as it appears now; Oh... btw... we also have the Swiss champion.

I dont mind the jersey, at least they did the whole jersey with national champion color, but what leave me a bit doubtful is the rider + bike aka red + red for those who havent seen yet the bike; perhaps it's gonna be too much.

I don't count Radioshack or Movistar attempts in my "how hard can it be?" question on designing national champion's outfits: they've already shown that for them, it is impossible.

I thought you were talking about the helmet for a moment, because I didn't even realize this rider was a national champion. That's how bad it is...

Damn, and I thought I would have seen the worst of it when they presented their helmets. This also seems like the first time in a long while that Lampre has a championship jersey.

I first saw it and thought he was a former national champ of Eritrea as you can hardly see the flag. I hope the Portugease one for Nelson Olivera will be better.

Oh wow, shouldn't have forgotten that. Still, there's not much you can do wrong with that jersey.

What about this one?

They better keep it the same for this year. . . .

The jersey will stay the same for sure as per the rules of the Portuguese Federation, however, I think the bib shorts will loose their white, standard design.

Its a good jersey, but I would prefer if they removed the bits and pieces on the shoulders and arms. Can't see the scribble anyway and the boy will look much better.

Well I fully agree. Similar (though worse) happened to Costa's TT skinsuit from the first half of last season, a complete olivier salad.

And when they did have them they had no idea what that championship jersey was supposed to look like.
