Best and Worst National Champs jerseys

Page 50 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
im guessing based on previous trek champs kit, they'll give it the full treatment. but trek above the green, and segefredo below, and add black panel to each side of the jersey.

similar to schlecks luxembourg kit, when it didn't have one black arm.

Dunno if this has already been posted... but seriously, Lampre?

That is correct. The two used to be identical, the UCI weren't fans of that.

Which makes no sense, ideally you'd want the national teams to use the national jersey for World Championships wouldn't you ???? It would just be so damn logical.

If a cockroach listened to Pat Benatar and dressed Paris Hilton, it would look something like this. Those Suomy are down there with POC. Coincidentally, both didn't start by designing cycling helmets.

But yes, the flag. Oh, the flag.

Oh boy, what a disgrace. This must be the ugliest national jersey every made. Too bad those small countries will not complain about the design and will allow the team/manufacturer to make crappy national jerseys like this.

Sadly, in Lampre's case, I'm convinced it's more about laziness and incopetence than sponsor pressure. A shameless display of what they're all about. Carpe Diem, free-for-all, do whatever the hell one wants. Because tactics and professionalism are too mainstream.

Remember what happened last time Lampre had the Slovene national champion - this is actually a slight improvement. It's a godawful jersey but at least the Slovene flag is correct this time.

It seems like they should just stop holding national championship races at this rate, every team seems keen to pretend they haven't got national champions and give these titles as little attention as possible. I really dislike this trend towards marginalizing national champion designs. A national champion should stand out in the péloton, which also gives the team a golden opportunity to produce something noticeable and get the sponsors additional coverage, rather than try to hide it so that we can't tell.

That's about what I'm expecting. Bobridge is a decent name, but not big enough for a sponsor to not want the jersey to be taken over by national colours.
