The old sleeves were also quite blue due to the DSM-Firmenich logo. It seems that the German federation has less strict rules than the British one.

I understand thinking the sleeves should just be white, but those sleeves look rather black to me, not blue.

it's blue for sure with team blue shorts too, whilst Pfeiffer has classic black.
