We have a thread discussing the best avatars, but I haven't seen one for the signatures.

I haven't put much thought into this, But I like RedheadDane's one:

"I'm totally mental. I'm mad as a bird. I am Gingerviking!"

It just cracks me up :D

The best signature is currently mewmewmew13, who credits krebs303 with designing a photo of a strange couple doing coordinated leg lifts.

I remember someone (might not be on forum anymore) had a signature quoting Jens and his disapointment at not being able to defend his title at the GP Jens Voigt (aka Criterium International).

I cant remember it word for word but basically Jens said that hell apply for a UCI team licence and he doesnt need a team, or something to that effect.

It was something like

Kim Andersen: Jens we're not gonna send a team to CI this year.
Jens: It's ok I don't need a team to win. In the first stage I'll just hide in the peloton. In the second I'll go in a break and then there's the itt.
KA: That's a good plan but you have to be 6 riders in order to start the race.
J: Then I'll just have to apply for an individual licence.

Don't remember who had it though (but if I'm not mistaken it was a 'nordic', maybe Christian).

wonderlance's link to a certain dubious ride was either just blind fanboy-ism or a genius p1sstake

A year ago, somebody (can't remember precisely but it seems to me it was TeamSkyFans) had a sig with something like 'proud recipient of a middle finger from the Radioshark teamcar in Paris'... or maybe London, i can't recollect :( but it is/was the best sig i've ever seen here.

There was also a poster who had the eyes on darfur website as their sig.

http://www.eyesondarfur.org/

Massive respect for that.

Yep, that was TSF.

Which reminds me of when TSF said that if Thomas isnt in the Tour squad, he (Dim) will ride a girls bike down the champs elysee naked, and someone else put that into their sig with the words - saved, just in case.

Ah yes, you are right. It was Sestrieres 1999, but with the words - cleanest performance in cycling. Coming during the Lance wars of May- July 2010 it was pure genius.

The latter :D

The guy was a comedic genius. Once someone (TFF?) asked him how he came up with his pro-Lance material. His response was simply:

Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V.

His disappearance from these forums is the only downside I can find to LA retiring....

Wonderlance's response to TFF's (bang the hooker of excellence) is one of the greatest exchanges and comebacks in the forum's history.

There was one poster whose signature was quoting another poster (can't remember either one's name) - anyways it read something along the lines of:

"Apparently Andy Schleck stores his blood not in plastic blood bags but in old beer bottles"

I always though that was funny sh!t.

I remember there was a signature quoting also Jens Voigt regarding coffee.
It was something like that. "More is better" Jens Voigt regarding coffee.
