So which solo do you think was the best, the most impressive we've seen untill now this year?

Sadly enough i couldn't add the one of nibali on LBL, such a shame he got caught. Was still pretty impressive.

EDIT: I went with Boonen. He never weakened unlike others, destroyed team sky. And it was really balzy, he could have waited for the sprint but he did it like a real champ. Chapeau.

Voted Boonen because he did it in Paris Roubaix, but what about Matteo Rabottini's solo ride on stage 15 of the Giro? In my opinion it was one of the best stages of the year.

Nairo Quintana in the Route du Sud. Just look at the destruction:

profile-3.jpg

1 Nairo Quintana Rojas (Movistar) 6'07'46
2 Hubert Dupont (Ag2r-La Mondiale) +1'11
3 Anthony Charteau (Europcar) +3'49
4 Kenny Elissonde (FDJ) +5'55
5 Matthieu Perget (Ag2r-La Mondiale) +6'33

The top 10 covered 12 minutes; the top 20 covered 18.

Undeniably awesome but wasn't Quintana away with Dupont until the final climb?

We can only hope Prudhomme has seen that profile and the race it resulted in.

Missed most of the classics season and the entire Giro apart from last two stages and watching races later from video doesn't really bring the same emotion as watching in real time.:(
Although De Gendt's effort in Giro was great to watch, its consequences for the GC and emotions got are not really comparable with AC's win yesterday.
Though admittedly, yesterday is much fresher in the memory than the end of May.
So obviously voted for yesterdays Vuelta stage.
