best way to view the giro?

hey guys,

just wondering, since there is no where is australia showing the giro on tv, is there anywhere i should look?

Here in the States, some cable or satellite providers have RAI as a subscription option. I subscribe every year and get the full Italian broadcast.

Don't know if anyone in Oz offers it, but it may be worth investigating.

The best way to view the Giro is by the side of the road on a mountain stage, with a barbecue to grill up some meat, a bit of red wine, and a portable TV hooked up to your car, so that you can then follow the rest of the stage. Other than that, it looks like it's increasingly easy to find sites that stream TV.

SBS is showing a morning update (probably about 7.15, leading into the Italian news, same as last year, which they also did for La vuelta) new for this year is an evening half hour of this year's giro d'italia...but truly the best way to see it is being there....
