schnebit said:So, while she knew that her husband was helping Armstrong, and using PED's to do so, did she stop accepting his salary?
Also, she blames Armstrong... how about her husband?

Speaking for myself, I am sick and tired of the aggressive, scorched earth, Fabiani politics of personal destruction tactics being used to smear many good people. Like Betsy.
You are using those tactics and I take umbrage. I asked you to tell us what Betsy is guilty of. I'd appreciate a response.
schnebit said:Betsy a national hero?
MacRoadie said:Probably no way you would have "known" that...
schnebit said:First of all, I'm not smearning Betsy... I'm just saying that she's no National Treasure.
What is she guilty of? Lying... both she and Frankie continued to accept money from his team(s) and sponsors knowing that he (Frankie) was cheating.
Is it admirable that they came clean? Yes... but they contributed to the problem and are not innocent.

Because Betsy and Frankie aren't innocent.... This thread heralded Betsy to be a National Treasure, yet she and Frankie continued to cash his paychecks that he earned off of cheating.
Scott SoCal said:That is some of the weakest sauce I have read yet.
My opinion.

MacRoadie said:It's real simple. Please provide proof of this.
schnebit said:Man, why are you so petty? Honestly... what's your problem?
schnebit said:Proof that they lied? You know what, not worth it. Ya'll win. I'll digress...
schnebit said:What do you call someone who doesn't tell the truth?
schnebit said:There's obviously a reason why you feel that way. Would you mind sharing?
Scott SoCal said:For the same reason I would not consider you to be a liar for cashing your paycheck after speeding to work.
Of all the things Betsy could have done she chose the correct thing to do. In this day and age that is commendable. Yet you can't/won't/don't see that... instead you put forth an argument laced with stupidity and wonder why there is a negative response.
Things that make you go Hmmmm.
schnebit said:Cashing my paycheck after speeding to work? We're talking about two completely different things here.
How about if I fabricated reports to get a promotion? How about if I stole someone else's work and took credit for it? Would that be OK or would that constitue an argument laced with stupidity?

Berzin said:All that matters about Betsy's claims is the list of drugs Armstrong rattled off that he used BEFORE he got sick-
1) EPO
2) Testosterone
3) Steroids
4) Growth Hormone
5) Cortisone
If McIlvane corroborated this in her testimony (there are rumors to the contrary, but at this point no one knows) this is just another detail that takes his achievements down another peg.
So when people say how super-talented he was pre-cancer, instead of rattling off the list of wins I'll make sure to include this one also.
By the way, would the Feds have trouble finding the doctor who asked him this question? It seems this guy is harder to find than Whitey Bulger.
