As for the poster i addressed, he has been ridiculing Evenepoel and his fans or people who thought highly of him over the course of YEARS and hardly ever acknowledged his mistake or the rider's class. So your entire post can go straight into the garbage bin and to me is nothing but a disingenuous and clueless attempt.

As I said in the Pidcock thread, he's the only rider doing the three disciplines at the very top level. Once he concentrates more exclusively on the road (probably 2025), then we'll see what his limits are.

And although it's understandable that people want to make a judgement, there really is very little to base that on in terms of GC. If he completes the TDS, then it will be the first WT one week race that he has. Algarve earlier this year, was only the second Pro level one he'd done apart from the ToB, Last year he had stomach issues, so was withdrawn from The Giro, did some MTB, got Covid at the TDS, and ended up 16th at the Tour with virtually no prep. And in keeping with Logic's sentiments, it was at the TDS last year, that some were writing Evenepoel off as a GC rider.
