Colnago was said to be willing to pay Pozzato's salary if he was gonna join Europcar so I guess so.

I think Rolland probably is referring to any new Colnago TT frame as their model hasnt been updated from many years.

Pretty sure it's going to be Specialized with Contador there unless someone else knows different.

Canyon

Any news about the future of Canyon bikes in pro cycling? There was a rumor about Katusha changing bikes for 2012 again. After recent announcement of Zabel and Michael Rich joining the Katusha staff it seems possible. Both are known for close cooperation with Canyon.

it will be interesting to see what BMC does with Gilberts bike next year. Boonen's Merckx 2 years ago was the best looking national champion bike ever and DeVolder's Specialized wasn't much last year so I hope BMC can live up to the tradition.
nice to see Felt back in the peloton with 1T4i, good looking rig and kit

Couldn't find any better pic; doesnt look like an Eddy Merckx nor a Boardman so my bet is on a borrowed/personal bike.

BMC will use shimano group in 2012 again and will buy the groups

cofidis back to shimano, and they buy them too (cofidis did 2009 campy, 2010 shimano, 2011 campy, 2012 shimano)

it seems like a pro Tour team will buy their bikes for 2012

SKY from Deda to Pro in 2012

According to Gazzetta Focus offered 1.5 million euro to Farnese Vini for become their frame sponsor but Scinto would prefer to stay with Cipollini (which offer "only" 600.000euro).

NB: one of the many troubles Pozzato got this season with Katusha were the Focus bikes as well.

If people voluntarily turn down 900.000 € just to not have to ride your bikes, you should maybe think about what's wrong. ;)

FROM THE WEIGHTWEENIES FORUM

"From twitter from a reporter at the Campy WPS presentation:

Just four WT teams to use Campagnolo in 2012.. Lotto, Movistar, Lampre and Europcar. Only Lotto and Movistar get full EPS treatment.

Cunego, Scarponi, Voeckler and Rolland will also ride EPS, with their rest of team on mechanical."

just 4 teams is not much

By hearing what some pros had to say about recent 11 speed (mechanic one), I think they are more than lucky to have 4 teams. ;)

It's not that different than last year, is it? The only real exception is Quick Step. Dunno if Specialized's association with Sram will carry through to the OPQS sponsorship.

Was it bad ? :p

I heard of Lampre guys begging on their knees the team management to have at least for training the old trusty 10speed groupset (mainly cause the 11speed shifters would break too often).
